About the position
Permanent ongoing contract, At Aidan Doherty Transport, we are looking to hire Articulated Truck Driver E+C License, Code 14 License for a permanent ongoing contract based out of Tipperary Town, Ireland. Currently looking for Truck Drivers from South Africa to work in Ireland. Requirements: Job role: Training: Relocating from South Africa: Relocating from South Africa Work Permits and Accommodation:
A valid Passport is required for this position
Successfully candidate to be over 25 due to insurance purposes
Hold a full E + C license for minimum of 10 years
Have 1-year traceable accident free driving history
The job role is Supermarket Distribution Night shift....
The role with involve loading of the trailer at the distribution centre
Delivering through the night as per manifest to supermarkets in the Munster and Connaught regions of Ireland.
Each driver is assigned their own truck
There will be no sleeping out as the trucks are back to base after each shift
Company supplies car or van to commute to and from our depot in Tipperary Town to the distribution centre.
Full on the job training and induction is provided by the company including manual handling and electric pallet truck training
Part of the training is to shadow an experienced driver for a period of time
We currently have drivers from South Africa who would be involved in the induction and training process
For the drivers willing to relocate, assistance will be provided as in a room to yourself in a shared house with other drivers at a cost of 40 Euro per week plus utilities.
Washing, cooking and cleaning facilities are available in the house
Assistance will be provided to drivers who are willing to relocate to Ireland with regards to Work permits. It is a requirement that drivers from outside the EU have valid work permits for Ireland.
The cost of the work permit is 1000 Euro/ 20047 Rand
(This cost is covered by the company and not for your own expense)
Work permit applications can take up to 16 weeks
Flight costs and accommodation costs are for your own account
