This is a Four Month Contract.
KEY OUTPUTS
- To lead a team of HR Administrators, ensuring the execution of the various HR administrative processes for the organisation.
- Support the Operational HR team in driving accuracy and delivering a consistent experience for employees and line leaders when they engage with these HR Administrative processes.
- Lead and manage the facilitation and coordination of HR administrative operations for the organisation.
- Ensure standardisation of HR policies and procedures.
- Partner in the formulation of business unit planning, operational policies, practices, decisions, systems, and priorities.
- Manage/direct day to day work flow and processes of the HR unit team members including development of staff competencies and customer service skills.
- Lead, direct, and facilitate the functional administration of recruitment, leave administration and employee benefits.
- Monitor team performance and activity
- Monitor all HR actions until completed
- Manage the HR operations team to ensure effective delivery of centralised HR process
- Analyse, plan and facilitate the recruitment programme at National Office and the hiring process to ensure that HR service provided meets the needs of the organisation.
- Draft operational guidelines according to updated policies and procedures.
- Advise management and employees on all changes to Employment legislation, i.e., U.I.F
- Manage help Desk enquires including generating reports
- Ensure that an effective filing system is maintained and up to date.
- Lead and facilitate the exit interview process and provide monthly reports.
- Develop and implement an induction programme for new employees at National Office.
- Ensure all payroll related transactions are accurately processed within the correct timescales.
COMPETENCIES REQUIRED (SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ATTRIBUTES
- National Senior certificate plus a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Relevant qualification. e.g. (Degree or Diploma)
- Four (4) to five (5) years human resources experience, minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory position
- Experience of leading a small team, preferably within an HR department.
- Experience of working with HR systems.
- Experience that would assist the incumbent in driving a service excellence mindset and building relationships within the organisation.

- In dept knowledge of the Human Resources functions and related administration functions.
- Functional ability in utilisation of electronic human resources systems and technologies

- Able to partner with the Department Head to support the achievement of strategic objectives through effective support administrative processes.
- Effective working relationship with the Department Head, Senior Managers and Regional Human Resources Managers.
- Excellent analytical, organizational skills, business acumen and the ability to deal with ambiguity and meet demanding deadlines and manage projects
- Consulting skills and a Collaborative style is necessary for this position.
