About the position
Integrate Talent strategy with business strategy in consultation with business to drive change, build organisational alignment, improve leadership and management capabilities and improve employee experience. Serve as an active and influential business partner in advising business leadership team who is responsible for HR processes in driving the achievement of the strategy in a HR generalist role and therefore promote the ideal culture. Coordinate the implementation of the Talent strategy and compliance matters through effective and efficient HR related services, policies, systems and programs delivered by HR staff. Facilitate organisational development and strategic workforce planning to optimise business functioning. Design of benefits and reward to make up the ideal Employee Value Proposition to attract and retain Talent. Design Talent Strategy. Design and promote the Employee Value Proposition through approriate initiatives.
Aligning strategic planning and budgetary cycle with talent management practices.
Establish and implement succession management including assessments retention, reward and development.
Redeployment of resources. Restructuring of organisation and departments.
Faciliate team development for teams within the Scheme.
Formulate Remuneration and Benefit Management practices as specialist including job evaluations, increases, bonusses, incentives and benefit such as pension and medical aid to ensure it is inline with industry and promote ideal EVP.
Ensure effective communication with all third parties the Talent Team interface with. Build solid relationships with all managers and other key staff within the Scheme.
Continuous development and review of policies and procedures to be done to ensure that the Scheme remains complaint, stays competitive and addresses operational issues.
Internal audit facilitation and accountability of findings
Maintain risk register for all Talent related risks and mitigation plans.
Adherance to Procurement Process.
Ensure that all vendors have up to date contracts and that we comply with the provisions of the contracts.
Maintain expenditure of Talent within the operational and salary budget set.
Structure, task allocation and monitoring of HR competence within the Talent Team to deliver on strategic objectives.
