About the position

To assist the unit management to supervise the control of reception area to the required standards and to provide a service to the client's specifications and satisfaction within the standards laid down by the company.

  • Using multi line telephone system, answers and appropriately routes incoming calls.
  • To answer all incoming calls with proper telephone etiquette. Must be professional, credible, pleasant and sincere.
  • Greets visitors in a pleasant and professional manner, assists and directs them as requested.
  • Ensures that guests sign in the register and issues them with a visitor's card.
  • Retrieves the cards from the visitors on their departure.
  • Co-ordinate receiving incoming and outgoing shipping packages / mail.
  • Distribute and or notify staff of incoming mail / packages received.
  • Distribute packages/ mail to branches.
  • Organize and maintain filling systems for documentation.
  • Maintain and distribute Monthly company birthday list.
  • Keep reception desk and area neat and tidy always.
  • Ongoing updating of Branch and emergency telephone numbers.
  • Telephone to be answered promptly (By 3rd ring).
  • Adherence to company codes and standards.
  • Perform & assist with the site inspection- Safety Walks.
  • To ensure a friendly and efficient service to all customers by all team members
  • To attend all training scheduled for you.
  • To attend staff meetings.
  • To relief in other Sodexo units when required.
  • To carry out any other duties or work outside the normal daily routine but within the overall scope of the position.
  • Assist with sodexo administration.
  • To print the monthly attendance registers for the team onsite.
  • Management may allocate additional tasks to you. You may be expected to carry out these tasks to Company Standards.
  • You are required to complete your daily duties in a positive manner, and to ensure that your conduct enhances "Team Spirit" within the unit.
