About the position

Our client is seeking a Professional Engineer (Mechanical / HVAC) to join their team, based in Centurion.

Minimum Requirements:-

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Valid ECSA Registration PR Mech Eng NQF Level 7-8
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Mechanical Engineering position in a private SA firm

Duties:-

• Mechanical Engineer position held in a Private SA Firm for minimum 5 years
• Commercial and Industrial use greenfield, Refurbishment & Construction project HVAC
• Professional Mechanical Engineer for a new small to medium multi-disciplinary professional proactive in-house to a large property portfolio
• All work stage roles and responsibilities associated with a PR Eng from inception to completion & handover
• Multi-discipline Revit & project AEC systems development alongside BIM Manager
• Planning and management of inhouse contract documentation
• HVAC system rational, design, coordination & certification

Skills:-

• Multi disciplinary team collaboration & coordination
• Practical industry knowledge, experience and mentorship abilities
• HVAC Contract Administration
• Strong NBR / SANS application
• High competency in Revit and associated MEP plugins
