Engineering Project Manager (2 month contract)

About the position

Responsible for direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of Engineering projects, ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals

• Planning and implementation of project
• Liaise with clients to identify and define requirements, scope and objectives
• Facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables
• Define project tasks and resource requirements
• Develop project plans
• Plan and schedule project timelines
• Track project deliverables using appropriate tools
• Provide project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans and reports
• Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
• Project evaluations and assessment of results

Qualifications / Experience / Skills
Grade 12
Technical Qualification (Beneficial)
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role
Manufacturing / Engineering industry experience essential
Ability to read and understand Technical Drawings
Experience in planning and scheduling management
Proficient in project management software
Excellent analytical skills
Strong interpersonal and communications skills
Strong client-facing and teamwork skills
Critical thinking and problem solving skills
Solid planning, organisational skills, including multitasking and time-management
