You're a tech-savvy Analyst with a knack for equity research. Not only do you enjoy doing research, you also enjoy presenting your findings to an investment team.
You'll dive into in-depth business evaluations and financial analysis of companies listed on various stock exchanges. You'll have the opportunity to build financial models supporting investment theses and present your research outcomes to the dynamic Investment team. Your work will contribute directly to the investment process, ensuring that their strategies align with their goals. Plus, you'll get to incorporate ESG factors into your research and have a say in proxy votes for companies in their portfolio. With a focus on both internal and external reporting, every day will bring new challenges and opportunities for growth.
You'll be joining an amazing asset manager with a unique investment philosophy that has made them very successful and enabled them to win raging bull awards year on year. They've continued to grow in terms of performance, AUM and even embarked on a merger which has set them up for further growth and transformation. You'll be based in beautiful offices in the Cape Town CBD with a view of the harbour. A hybrid work option is also available once you have completed your training.
To be considered for this role, you need a post-graduate qualification in investments and at least 3 years of experience in an Equity Analyst role. Your economic and stock market knowledge is crucial, as will your ability to work independently within a structured framework. Our client is looking for someone who is tech-savvy, enthusiastic, and resilient, with a knack for multitasking and prioritizing tasks effectively. This position is strictly EE.
