About the position
Oversee front desk operations of the service center, delivering expert operational support and business guidance to both customers and staff.
Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:
- Grade 12 / Matric certificate
- 3 years + experience in sales and/or customer service within automotive or building glass installations
- Computer literate in MS Office and SAP (preferable)
- Clear credit and criminal history
Key Performance Areas:
- Provide daily customer service and advice to customers, including counter sales
- Handle customer complaints and queries
- Manage claims processing, including verifying excess amounts and collecting payments
- Quality checks all transactions, invoices, and cash handling to minimize errors
- Sales support and follow-up on leads and cross-selling/upselling opportunities
- Stock control oversight and participate in monthly stock takes
- Manage outstanding payments, including CODs, and recording of all in-branch transactions
- Report and escalate issues with credit limits or payment terms
- Strictly follow company policies and procedures, including administrative best practices
