About the position
Our client, a company that provides various Systems and Cloud Solutions, is looking for a Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The CTO will provide sound technical leadership in all aspects of the business as well as develop and maintain the technical vision and leading all aspects of software product technology development.
The position will include overseeing all technical aspects and technological resources of the organisation for the purpose of organisational growth both financially and technically as well as establishing a technological vision for an organization and leads the company's technological development. Communicate with employees, stakeholders and customers to ensure the company’s technologies are developed and used appropriately.
Experience required:
- 5 Years proven experience as a CTO or similar Tech leadership role managing a team of 30 plus employees.
- 5-10 Years’ experience in supervising development of software solutions.
- Exposure to the HR / Financial / Banking sector would be advantageous.
- Exposure to the E-commerce technology environment (B2B Solutions / Systems)
- Exposure to the agile development methodology that tie back into the software product SDLC/PDLC.
- Exposure to Platform development Solutions, Mobile / Native applications, and database administration.
- Knowledge of technological trends to build strategy around the general company vision.
- In-depth knowledge of cloud based “platform” systems architecture, design and development.
Qualifications:
- BSc/BComm in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- Advanced Management diploma in Management will be advantageous
